These Terms of Use govern your use of the Lumenfoil app and lumenfoil.com. They supplement Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies to the app unless a different agreement is presented in the App Store.

Using Lumenfoil

You may use Lumenfoil to create and export stained-glass pattern projects for lawful purposes. You must be old enough to enter a binding agreement where you live, or have permission from a parent or guardian. Do not use the service to infringe another person’s copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights.

Your projects and input files

You keep the rights you have in the projects, reference files, and exports you create. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to import, trace, reproduce, share, sell, or otherwise use anything you put into a project. Lumenfoil does not verify ownership or grant rights in third-party artwork, characters, logos, photographs, or patterns.

Lumenfoil content

Lumenfoil’s app, name, logo, interface, documentation, and included sample content are protected by intellectual-property laws or licensed to Lumenfoil. You may use included sample content to evaluate and learn the app. Do not redistribute a sample as a standalone pattern, represent it as your own original design, or use Lumenfoil branding without permission.

Cutability guidance and workshop safety

Cutability Check and all cost, material, dimension, and fabrication information are general planning guidance—not a guarantee that a design can be cut, built, sold, or used safely. Glass selection, grain, scale, tools, equipment condition, skill, local rules, and workshop practice affect the outcome. Review every project independently, follow equipment instructions, and use appropriate training and protective equipment.

Subscriptions and purchases

Paid features are offered through Apple as auto-renewable subscriptions. The price, currency, trial or introductory offer (if any), renewal period, and cancellation terms are displayed by Apple before purchase and may vary by storefront. Your subscription renews unless you cancel it through your Apple account before the renewal date. Apple handles billing, eligible refunds, and purchase management; use Restore Purchases in Lumenfoil when appropriate.

Acceptable use

Do not interfere with the app or website, attempt to bypass paid-feature access, misrepresent Lumenfoil’s output as safety-certified or professionally approved, or use the name, logo, artwork, testimonials, or screenshots in a misleading way. Do not submit personal data you do not have a right to provide.

Availability and changes

We may update the app, website, or these Terms to improve the product, address security, or meet legal requirements. We will update the effective date when material changes are posted. Nothing in these Terms removes rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.

Consumer rights and disputes

These Terms do not require you to give up mandatory consumer rights or to submit a dispute to mandatory arbitration. If you have a concern, contact us first so we can try to resolve it fairly and promptly.
